Saving the Earth by Recycling One Piece of Paper at a Time
In today’s society we claim to be more and more environmentally conscious, however only 10% of the paper we use is recycled. Recycled paper works just as well as brand new paper and is also acid free.
Paper fibers can be recycled over and over resulting in the saving of our resources like our trees, energy, water, and landfill space. By actively practicing recycling habits, we can not only save our resources but also protect our endangered ecosystems such as our forests and watersheds. Recycled paper also causes less pollution when manufactured. If everyone recycled and used recycled paper there would be an on-going growth in our communities recycling collections and a huge step toward a globally ecological paper production system.
